Gold and silversmith  Miriam de Langley makes symbolic  jewellery inspired by Canadian wildlife as well as abstract pieces inspired by the beauty and imperfections of nature. The work exudes a laid back aesthetic where the rough meets refined. Each piece is hand carved or hammered, and the variations are what make each piece so  special. Miriam has a passion for creating and believes in the importance of the handmade; beautiful, lasting objects that are thoughtfully crafted.
Miriam studied fine art and goldsmithing in Toronto before seeking a summer apprenticeship in Southern France. She is inspired by her travels and the place she calls home. Today Miriam is proud to be fully commited to localized and sustainable production, each piece is made in her studio in Whistler BC.
